I am an avid cigar lover, a former partner in a cigar store, and have found the Macallef Red to b one of my all time favorites. Strength, construction, complexity, and consistency make this an outstanding smoke. Never get tired on this cigar. My only issue (not unique to Macallef), is that cigars continue to get pricey. The Macallef Red Toro is my first go-to cigar and certainly worth the money. But somehow, the cigar industry, with all of its competition, should really consider the pricing issue. Even a "second", if such can be found, even as a bundle cigar, would lead me to buy even more. All aside, I do not believe you can go wrong with Macallef Red.
